Just snagged a Marshall JTM 60 Combo cheap jhall Sep 18, 2015 J jhall Member Messages 849 Sep 18, 2015 #1 I head a lot of horror stories about these and this one looks like it's been to the moon and didn't quite make it back (adds to the MOJO). But upon plugging into It I couldn't resist! What a great sounding little fairly light combo.

#1 hi.. bit of help needed.. finally seen the light and am looking for marshall valve.. going for a combo.. Ive been offered a jtm 60 which sounds sweet (been used to peaveys).. though ive read that the jtms can be unreliable.. (need fans to cure cooling problem). It is a 1 x 15 heritage speaker.. 2 channel.. whats the best way to date the amp?

Marshall JTM30 1x12 Combo (Used 1995) Centaur Guitar
I've had a JTM-60 for nine years and hundreds of gigs. It works fine, but IMO Mullards or JJs improve the tone considerably. I don't play mine much anymore, as I have a Cornell Plexi 45/50. If I get around to it, I'll probably get rid of the Marshall. They sound fine for a low dollar amp. Oct 21, 2004.
